Mondays and Warm Weather

It’s finally time for the biggest change to the Hobby Wheel blog since I started it back in January. We’re on Mondays now! I had mentioned this a few weeks ago, and starting with the first Trailhead Talks (Which I’ll talk more about later), we’re putting out our big weekly content on Mondays. This’ll mean you’ve got all week to see our latest post or episode before the next one comes, giving you more time to read or watch. It also helps make writing them easier, so you can expect to start to see more better and varied content during the week without the need to write the blog or record the Trailhead Talks.

Speaking of Trailhead Talks, a huge thank you to everybody who watched the first episode of Trailhead Talks! This first episode has been a bit of a learning opportunity, and with each episode they will get more streamlined and smoother. I’m hoping that the trails dry out quick, so our next episode can feature some on trail action! You can look forward to finding the episode on YouTube next Monday, one week from today.

Warm weather – at last!

Speaking of the weather, these past few days of 50’s and 60’s has been wonderful, both for everyone’s mood and the trails drying out quickly. Speaking of the trails, just today, the opening day for Miners Park was announced – May 3rd! After winter hung on for so long, the trails opening being right on the horizon is a welcome sight for everyone waiting for biking to finally start.

As for the forecast, this warm weather is finally here to stay. Some rain will help to make up for a lower snow total from the winter and help to get everything green and summery. With this weather, it’s safe to say that summer is finally here to stay.

News from the Trails

Big news this week, the brand new Altitude, from Rocky Mountain. Redesigned around the refreshed LC2R suspension system, the Altitude is designed to go fast downhill, and charge through even the roughest terrain that the Enduro scene has to throw at it.

Well, Monday’s have gotten a little better, and I will be looking forward to the extra time to put out more special and better things for all of you. Starting with the next episode of Trailhead Talks!

Happy Adventuring!

-Peter
